happy holidays! a little early i know but it is december, a lot has been going on behind the scenes here at shoko29 studios, the phiftysixty cartoon is being completely redone! yup, 6+ months of animation just to be thrown out, i know it sounds dissapointing but it's for the better, i was not satisfied with what i had completed up until now, and i knew if i want to start over i had to do it early, so i did! as a little treat for waiting so long

and for my other cartoon project? going pretty well! about 20% of it's storyboards are complete, it's really fun to sit down and conceptualise what i want each shot to look like

trying to draw in a semi-seuss artstyle is a very fun challenge, not an easy one but i still try to keep the essence of it

if you've noticed, i finally found out how to add gifs to blog posts! yay! going to be really useful for sneak peeks

anyway, back to phiftysixty, not everything is being scrapped, i am still going to use the same general plot and even reuse some assets that still hold up, doing this as to not literally go back to square one, doing that would really suck! and not be really that worth it,
